A PPR (Polypropylene Random Copolymer) coupling is a type of PPR pipe fitting used to quickly connect two PPR pipes of the same or different diameters to form a leak-proof and durable connection in hot and cold water transportation. Typically used in residential or commercial piping systems, it involves heat fusion welding to create a permanent, corrosion-resistant piping system.

Yes, all our standard PPR couplings are engineered with a PN25 pressure rating. We maintain a heavily reinforced, uniform wall thickness throughout the entire fitting. This structural integrity ensures the coupling can easily withstand the high pressure and water hammer effects common in commercial high-rise buildings and industrial booster pump networks.
Do you use any recycled regrind material to lower the cost of basic fittings like couplings?
Absolutely not. We operate under a strict zero-regrind policy. Even for high-volume basic fittings like couplings, we use 100% virgin PPR-C material sourced from industry leaders like Borealis or Hyosung. This ensures the fittings remain highly impact-resistant, non-toxic, and fully certified for potable (drinking) water systems without becoming brittle over time.
How do you prevent thread stripping in your Female/Male Threaded Couplings (Transition Sockets)?
For threaded transition couplings, we utilize heavily knurled CW617N brass inserts. During the injection molding process, the PPR material flows into the deep anti-slip grooves of the brass, creating an inseparable mechanical lock. This prevents the brass insert from twisting, stripping, or leaking when contractors apply high torque during installation.
How do you handle packaging to prevent "ovality" (deformation) during long ocean freight?
Couplings packed loosely in large sacks often suffer from ovality (becoming out-of-round) under the immense weight of a stacked 40HQ container. We solve this by packing our couplings in heavy-duty polybags, which are then placed into reinforced 5-ply corrugated export cartons. This rigid packaging structure absorbs the physical stress of international shipping, ensuring every coupling arrives perfectly round and ready for fusion.
Can we emboss our own brand logo and insertion depth lines on the couplings?
Yes, we provide comprehensive OEM services for global distributors. We can customize the injection molds to feature your embossed brand logo, the exact pressure rating (e.g., PN25), and standard compliance marks.
